According to Patchstack’s 2026 State of WordPress Security Report, researchers discovered 11,334 new WordPress vulnerabilities in 2025, a staggering 42% increase over the previous year! Even more concerning, 91% of these vulnerabilities were found in WordPress plugins, highlighting just how important regular website maintenance, security monitoring, and proactive protection have become.

That’s pretty scary statistics dontcha’ think? We trust the Wordfence security plugin to keep your site secure so we can help protect your WordPress website from malicious attacks from viruses, hackers and malware. The built-in Malware and Security Scanner helps block hackers & malware by scanning your site regularly for file changes, known malware and other changes to help identify any security risks, malicious codes, spam, virus, SQL injection attack, and security vulnerabilities. If your site is threatened, we will know immediately.

*The Wordfence security plugin is one of the BEST WordPress plugins for security, prevention and monitoring. It IS the best in our opinion! BUT it does not include cleaning your site if it is hacked or infected with malware. If your site is infected, cleaning it is not something we do either, you will have to have it cleaned by a professional. BUT since we do backup it up monthly – we CAN restore the most recent backup saved in the cloud! After all – that is what WP-SUB does! See Backups below for more on this. Keep in mind, this may not be the perfect solution. Depending on your hosting situation, we may be able to restore it easily with a backup, usually in cases where you have a single WordPress site in a single hosting environment. It can get tricky when you have multiple sites and non-Wordpress files and therefore we can’t guarantee anything if you host elsewhere. Just know we got your back!
